The important of Self-Consultant and Re-evaluating

When I call my friend, he says “I am in the meeting and call you back”. When I surf on facebook, many friends update their status and say, “LOL, too busy … busy week, busy Monday...” I see the red sign of my close friend on her gTalk status with the message of “busy … please leave a message…” Yes, after all, I realize many of us are too busy everyday for our living and life is overwhelmed with too much to do and too little time to handle. Is it so in your real life?

We struggle with our daily life, living a stressful life, facing different kinds of hardship and get lost in middle of somewhere. We do not know where we are but we just keep going and pushing ourselves to the unseen way tomorrow. We close our mind, dreams and goals without knowingly.

Instead, it is important to stop, stand back, think about our life and ask ourselves, “If there could be a better way of living.” There is a proverb saying that, “Where there is a will there is a way.” Stand out of the box, put ourselves in the position of outside consultant, evaluate our own situation and give ourselves advice how to do handle it. Hope we all will find a better way.

Be self-consultant, re-evaluate about the real situation, be honest one self and handle. (Image source)

Happy weekend and see you next week!

(This comment was sent via email reply by the founder of http://enablelearning.biz/ and posted here by Admin) - I agree.. but one of the great mistakes I have made, while building the Enable Group of businesses (and this is at times the price of success) is that I have trained myself to be so efficient in productivity areas and I have lost the art of tuning into the life work balance.

Mine had tipped into work efficiency and productivity to an absolute formula. CEOs and managers would seek me out for my particular skills to reform and build their organizations, the side effect was that I lost touch with my friends and family.

My many companions were CEOs and those who wanted to talk 'work' and human resource reforms. The others were those who wanted to curry favour.. shallow but that's the way it is.

Now I turn around and see that most people I now interact with are at that level of corporate achievement or trying to get there and never have the time to just 'be'.

There can be a side effect to success, some wont care, but I do now!
