 16 Big Ideas of Google

 Have you ever heard about selected 16 Big Ideas of Google? Some may be "Yes" but most of us would say "No". Then what are these big ideas and What Would Google Do?. Two years ago, Google began the project which called 10^100 by asking people to share their ideas for changing the world by helping as many people as possible and giving away $10 million for this project.

Google says;

Thousands of people from more than 170 countries submitted more than 150,000 (or around 10^5.2) ideas, from general investment suggestions to specific implementation proposals. As we reviewed these submissions, we started noticing lots of similar ideas related to certain broad topics, and decided that combining the best aspects of these individual proposals would produce the most innovative approaches to solving some very pressing problems.

Then Google selected 16 big or common ideas as below;

  1. Make government more transparent
  2. Provide quality education to African students
  3. Help social entrepreneurs drive change
  4. Create real-time natural crisis tracking system
  5. Build better banking tools for everyone
  6. Collect and organize the world's urban data
  7. Work toward socially conscious tax policies
  8. Encourage positive media depictions of engineers and scientists
  9. Enhance science and engineering education
  10. Create real-world issue reporting system
  11. Promote health monitoring and data analysis
  12. Create genocide monitoring and alert system
  13. Drive innovation in public transport
  14. Make educational content available online for free
