Few months ago, i met a nice guy who is in 60 plus and work actively as business consultant and marketing for one of the biggest microchip supplier companies in Asia. And whenever i have discussion with him, he repeatedly asks me if i take the notes on what we have been discussing so far. He also loves to raise some questions like; "what did i say before..?"... "Do you think that's possible?"... and etc... Sometimes, he shows me his note book and says;"Look! I always try to take important notes in my life; who i met, what we discussed, what we agreed, what we planned, when to start and finish. Then i can check it back anytime and count what i've done."
I think many of us forgot to take a note and count what we've done in life. We even forgot to count "Our Positive Past". We dare not welcome a new challenge because we think we can't get it over. In fact, we did many great things and met many great people in life. We just need to count and list our "Positive past" again.
Jack Canfield says;" the more you acknowledge your past successes, the more confident you'll become in taking on new challenges and successfully accomplishing them."
