 Search Trends via Google Beat

As it is reported recently by Google blog, there are more than a billion searches for information on Google every day and sure that many of us wanted to know what those searches are about. You may search the same information that i do and millions of minds of people may have the same ideas or keywords to search for.

Then what are the most search trends for today or last week? I can't tell you since searches can be unexpected, and sometimes what’s popular one week could never have been predicted the week before but Google is introducing a new way to find out via a regular video series called Google Beat that highlights some of the hottest searches on Google in the U.S.

Google says "Using data from Google Trends, Google Insights for Search and some additional tools, the Google Beat will give you a snapshot of some of the topics that prompted people to turn to the web over the past week."

Check out what Google called "Year-End Zeitgeist" which reveals a view into what searches about the interest, passions, and issues for the year since 2001 based on global search queries on Google.com in English.
