According to International Monetary Fund forecasts, developing Asian economies will grow 6.2 percent this year and 7.3 percent in 2010 which makes many businessmen and companies to move into Asia, including CME Group Inc.
Quote to Bloomberg's Oct 8, 2009 report, CME Group Inc., the world’s largest futures exchange, predicts “great growth” in Asian derivatives as the economy expands, Executive Chairman Terry Duffy said.
Duffy said in an interview in Hong Kong “That’s one of the reasons I’m here,”...“We’re making certain that the CME continues to expand its business outside the U.S. We need to get involved.”
In our previous post, we also see that US is planning to promote more in its export especially in small business and now big company like CME is start to expand its business to Asia. This is what we will see more in the future in playing business game in Asia, starting in India and China where main consumers are targeted and head to Singapore and South Korea where strong business centers could be established.
Continue in this report, Duffy is working on “new relationships” in China and India in addition to “strategic partnerships” in Singapore and South Korea. And what will be the next issue for US and Asia? Where US is heading and what will be the impact of Asia? The good? The Bad?
