 Strategic Marketing Plan Workshop

In response to current market demands and fulfillment of customers’ need, the company’s “Strategic Marketing Plan: 2010 – 2019” workshop was held for two days at Wang Tarn Resort, Chiang Mai, northern Thailand.

It was also aimed to build up a good team work among the staff and encouraged them to support company’s goals as it is planed. One resource person was invited and there were 11 (eleven) participants during the workshop.


Objectives:

(1) To learn and understand the “Marketing Plan” of the company
(2) To know the important of team work in reaching common goals
(3) To update knowledge and operational process of each individual’s responsibilities

Participatory approaches method was used throughout workshop and participants had opportunities to share their own ideas and self-commitment for better ways in reaching the company’s goals.

The essential points of market research, understand customer needs and requirements, product innovation, product uniqueness, important of quality control and reasonable price of the products were also discussed. Then the participants were asked to present after each activity by using the raw materials which were provided during workshop. In later sessions, important of product logo, label and shop achitecture uniqueness were emphasized in order to provide a clear image of uniqueness in doing business.

For the last part of this work shop, new strategic marketing plan of the company was provided in hard copy to all participants and discussed in detailed. Feedback and comments were welcomed during discussion and participants were encouraged to follow activities that they had done throughout workshop in order to achieve company’s goals, and workshop was ended successfully.
