Personaly, i have been using Google Adwords which is the most popular channel among Pay Per Click Search Engine Marketing. Within my limit knowledge and budget, i have been trying with the purpose of getting profit from the clicks but the conversion ratio never show positive result apart from clicks that i got and pay to Google by the end of every month.
In other words, it just cover my investment or even lose my budget after sometime and give it up at last. Then, i start to think and analyse the failure reason and how i could do in effective way to make profit from Pay Per Click market.
I do research by spending my time online and come across the paper which talks about failure reasons or "7 Cardinal Sins of B2B Search Engine Marketing."
Now, i realize that Pay Per Click Market is:
(1) Not just marketing campaigns, we need to hav a Realistic Goal
(2) Not a Temporary Tactic, it is long plan
(3) Be ready with creative contents, value and offer before we start
(4) Do research on terms and key words before we start
(5) Ready to challenge short term failures to gain success in long plan
(6) Do quick response and monitor on daily data reports (competitive markets)
(7) Hire or consult with Experts. Otherwise, it is just wasting time and money
