Ok..Whenever we do "Action Plan", most of us are focusing on activities (including me) and my objective and key success factors were not good which i come to know after our consultant commented me during my presentation.
Why? My detail activities were good enough but when we checked objective and key sucess factors, they were not matched. Another meaning, i plan for nothing because it is sure that my action plan will not work out.
So, to have good objectives and key success factors are quite important when we plan. Then only we will have a good result.
Let's see one example together: my trading web site is too bad and old. Then i would like to upgrade to be more user-friendly. So, to upgrade, i will start with some activities: example: Analyze Current Web Site, Hire Web Designer, Programmer and so on.
Then, i have to think why i would like to upgrade my web site? Just for design? Useless. The reason is i want more visitors/traders to come to my site, know more about my biz and purchase my products.
So, in this case, i can put one objective as "To have more business visitors" and my key success factor can be "Increase Sale". Otherwise, upgrading my web site will be good for nothing.
